Sumi Krishnan

Named Inc. Magazine’s “30 Under 30″ and Washingtonian’s Woman to Watch, Sumi is most widely known for founding and growing K4 Solutions, Inc. – a multi-million dollar government contracting company serving healthcare and national security missions. Wielding two masters degrees including one from the Harvard Kennedy School, Sumi is now using her platform as a Nashville-based singer songwriter to elevate the impact of the arts in social justice.

Kylie Slavik

Kylie Slavik is an expert at helping movement leaders connect with their audience through powerful storytelling that moves people to action. She is the creator of the methodology, “Story Funnel,” a unique empathy driven approach that helps build a deeper connection while creating social change at mass scale.

Jonathan Metzl

Jonathan Metzl is the Director of Vanderbilt University’s Center for Medicine, Health & Society and a sought-after speaker and thought leader on topics including mental illness and gun violence. Metzl is also the Research Director of Safe Tennessee and the author of a number of books including his most recent, “Dying of Whiteness.” He is a frequent guest on national media including PBS, NPR, MSNBC, CNN, Bill Maher and a frequent writer & contributor to various national publications.

Simon Tam

Simon Tam is best known as the founder and bassist of The Slants, the world’s first and only all-Asian American dance rock band. He has been a keynote speaker, performer, and presenter at TEDx, SXSW, Comic-Con, The Department of Defense, Stanford University, and over 1,200 events across four continents. He has set a world record by appearing on the TEDx stage 13 times. His work has been highlighted in over 3,000 media features across 150 countries including The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, NPR, BBC, New York Times, and Rolling Stone. He fought and won the landmark U.S. Supreme Court Case, Matal v. Tam, which helped expand first amendment rights in trademark law for minority communities and recently published his memoir on social justice, “Slanted.”

Jules Schroeder

Ranked by Inc. Magazine as #1 of the “Top 27 Female Entrepreneurs Changing the World in 2017” and one of the “Top 40 Millennials To Follow in 2018″, Jules Schroeder is an expert at helping leaders enroll people in unconventional missions and creating groundswells of support around a cause.

Tim Wise

Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. Named one of “25 Visionaries Who are Changing Your World,” by Utne Reader, Wise’s essays have appeared on Alternet, Salon, Huffington Post, Counterpunch, The Root, Black Commentator, BK Nation and Z Magazine among other popular, professional and scholarly journals. Before being one of the leading speakers and writers on anti-racism, Wise served in the early 90’s as the Youth Coordinator and Associate Director of the Louisiana Coalition Against Racism and Nazism, the largest of the many groups organized for the purpose of defeating KKK leader & Neo-Nazi political candidate, David Duke.  Wise regularly appears on national media including CNN and MSNBC to discuss race issues.

Hawk Newsome

Hawk Newsome is the President of Black Lives Matter, New York and former County Committee Member of New York’s District 79. Newsome grew quickly in the public spotlight recently when he spoke on stage at a Pro-Trump rally in D.C. with a message of common humanity — which left the Pro-Trump crowd cheering for him. Newsome has dedicated his adult life to the betterment of his community & our nation as a whole. With a JD from Touro Law School in Long Island, NY he has spent the past few years on the front lines — leading protests and seeking justice for the families of those slain by overzealous police officers. In 2013, Hawk joined the Justice League NYC and has engaged in their national campaign to fix the broken criminal justice system, and he has recently been filmed for a feature documentary to be aired on the BET Network.
